Fantastic Mr. Fox
February 9, 2010
|
IMDB rating: 8.30 Plot: It is the story of one Mr. Fox and his wild-ways of hen heckling, turkey taking and cider sipping, nocturnal, instinctive adventures. He has to put his wild days behind him and do what fathers do best: be responsible. He is too rebellious. He is too wild. He is going to try “just one more raid” on the three nastiest, meanest farmers that are Boggis, Bunce and Bean. It is a tale of crossing the line of family responsibilities and midnight adventure and the friendships and awakenings of this country life that is inhabited by Fantastic Mr. Fox and his friends. |

Anyone have a current movies list so far?
Just a list of my top 3 movies released in 2009 as well as ones at the bottom of barrel:
1. Fantastic Mr. Fox- Very funny and enjoyable from start to finish.
2. The Blindside- A nice feel good film, worth watching.
3. Up- Another good one, the type of film to watch on a saturday night.
—
2nd list-bottom of the barrel
1. Medea goes to jail-Not one of Tyler Perry’s best films and Avatar(tie)-In the long run my older brother and I decided that Fantastic Mr. Fox was a better film.
2. Michael Jackson’s This is It- I do like a lot of his songs but I wasn’t too crazy about it.
3. Julie & Julia- Not a bad film but probably one I won’t watch again for a while.

1. The Hurt Locker - I related a lot to Jeremy Renner’s character about why we do the things we do.
2. The Road - I am fan of Cormac McCarthy and loved this movie. Some parts of the film left me feeling quite disturbed because I wondered How many of us would be like them?
3. Up - I have to agree with you there. The first 10 minutes are sheer brilliance. Fantastic movie.
My Bottom of the Barrel list include:
1. Angels and Demons - Although Ron Howard has Cinderella Man under his belt I absolutely hated this movie. None of the actors had chemistry with each other.
2. 2012 - Bad graphics, bad acting and ridiculous dialogue, enough said.
3. Couples Retreat - I like Vince Vaughn but yet again another failure from him.

She ( the female employee at the shop) may have perceived your asking her to try on some pants for you to see how they looked on her, so you could decide if you thought the pants would fit or look good on your sister, as a form of harassment towards her.
She might not have believed that you were being honest about the pants being for your sister.
She may have felt you were just asking her to try them on so that you could check her out in the pants.
If you were asking her to try on the pants for your sister, then you must have thought she was a similar size and shape as your sister, otherwise, how would having her try on the pants benefit you in deciding whether the pants would fit your sister or not?
She was probably uncomfortable that you were already checking her out in order to decide that she was similar enough to your sisters build that you would then approach her and ask her to try on the pants.
It does sound a little fishy, that you would ask someone to try on pants for you so you could decide if they would fit your sister.
If the story is true, then your sister must have told you the size she wore or you should have looked at the size of the pants she allegedly pissed in before coming to the shop to buy the pants.
If she needs these pants so badly because she doesn’t own any other pants that she could wear to the shop, then buy pants that are bigger than what she would usually wear (that way she could put them on if they were big as opposed to not being able to put them on if they are to small). If they don’t fit right, then she can wash the pair of pants that were peed in and then come back to the shop, return the pants you bought her ( as long as she doesn’t pee in those too), and buy a pair herself that she can try on in the store herself.
