I had this really romantic dream can any one explain it to me?
So there I am in a moonlight serenade when batman came and beat the crap out of me? What does this mean?
Whatever it means to you remember you’re a child of God and doesn’t love anyone more than He loves you.

|
IMDB rating: 5.20 Plot: “Call of the Wild” is a modern-day story incorporating elements of Jack London’s classic short novel. Christopher Lloyd stars as a recently widowed man living in Montana who takes his young granddaughter Ryann (Ariel Gade) in for several weeks while her parents are out of the country. When a wild hybrid wolf/dog shows up injured on the back porch one night, Ryann wants to take him back to Boston as a pet, but her grandfather knows the animal will eventually have to return to the wild. To help his granddaughter understand, he begins to read her Jack London’s “Call of the Wild” each night … but Ryann has ideas of her own, and helps a local boy train the magnificent animal to become a sled dog leader. Timothy Bottoms plays a dark-hearted local bully who tries to claim the dog as his own, and Wes Studi stars as a mysterious mountain man who always seems to appear on the fringe of the action. |

With the bad weather, do you think I should…?
send my kids to school? Its very ugly here in san joaquin valley right know, the wind is howling, raining and its still almost dark. I feel worried for sending my kids to school in this weather, if a tornado or a tree falls at the school and im not there to help if they need me. Our school is just 5 houses down and acrossed a lil street, do any of you parents feel this way or am I worrying to much?
You’re going to have to let them "go" eventually, might as well start practicing now. No matter what you do, or how hard you try you can’t always protect them. It’s a hard reality to swallow, but it is just that, reality. What if the tree or tornado wipes out their bedroom while they’re in it instead of at school?
BEE | Jan 20, 2010
You are a good parent to have concern about the safety of your children. If you will be at home and
as close as you are to the school you could let them go and just be ready to go get them if the
situation gets worse. Good luck
00 | Jan 20, 2010
I understand your fears,we have had a simular situation recently here in the Uk where weather conditions have been extreemely treacherous due to snow and my eldest daughter has to go to school on a Double decker bus.
There were accidents on the ice and snow all over the country..many people hurt, injured or killed..and I like many moms refused to let my daughter travel until it was safe to.
I agree with the people above about letting go etc..we’re mum’s,we’re always going to worry about them,However sometimes it’s with good cause!.
My philosophy on thing’s like this is…’It’s too late..When it’s too late”.
Good Luck xx

Sweeney Todd deffinitely! Johnny Depp is the best lol. The best pies in london
I would have to say….. Sweeney Todd, Secret Window, and I know what you did last summer.
Why?
Well, Sweeney Todd has a gripping story and the atmosphere feels eerie and weird and it is also directed by Tim Burton
Secret Window, because it offers scares and the twist is so genuine. Stephen King wrote the book.
I know what you did last summer because it is scary…..
To be honest, that is a cr*p list and I juts picked out those three because they are a little bit better than the rest. Sorry!

The Widow’s Might
March 11, 2010
|

When an acquaintance of Cameron’s, an elderly Widow, faces losing her home to the outrageous property taxes in her area, the Moore family takes action, along with their friends, the Morton family. |

What is the meaning of this?
Shakespeare’s 9th sonnet.
Is it for fear to wet a widow’s eye,
That thou consum’st thy self in single life?
Ah, if thou issueless shalt hap to die,
The world will wail thee like a makeless wife,
The world will be thy widow and still weep,
That thou no form of thee hast left behind,
When every private widow well may keep,
By children’s eyes, her husband’s shape in mind:
Look what an unthrift in the world doth spend
Shifts but his place, for still the world enjoys it;
But beauty’s waste hath in the world an end,
And kept unused the user so destroys it:
No love toward others in that bosom sits
That on himself such murd’rous shame commits.
‘Cause I think I got it. But I’m not sure. Haha.
Sonnet 9: Translation to modern English
——————————————————————————–
Is it because you fear to make a widow grieve, that you waste yourself in bachelorhood? Ah, if you should happen to die childless the world will mourn for you like a bereaved widow. The world will be your widow and weep profusely because you have left no copy of yourself behind, while an ordinary widow is able to keep her husband’s memory fresh by looking at her children. Whatever a money-waster spends just moves from one pocket to another and the world continues to enjoy it, but squandered beauty is lost to the world, and by not using it the user destroys it. There is no love for others in the heart of one who murders himself so shamelessly.

SCOOBY DOO…………………………..?
Ok i think this scooby doo lost everything it once had
this is because scooby do 1 and 2 were amazing and i am still watching them to this day
but when they released scooby do the mystery begins It wasnt the same not the same cast and not the same out look am i rite
I think you weren’t paying complete attention…
"Scooby-Doo: The Mystery Begins" is a straight-to-DVD prequel to the two big-screen movies (understandably wth a different cast and lower budget for obvious reasons) with a plot giving a backstory to Scooby and company.
After they hit a degree of paydirt giving Ace Ventura, Pet Detective a son (again straight-to-DVD sequel-itis) you should have known "those meddling kids" were next on the sub-Blockbuster Video cheapo-level sequel list…

as soon as they made those scoobydoo movies it was down the toilet

IS HOLLYWOOD RUINING THE MOVIE INDUSTRY WITH REMAKES?
Although I have seen my fair share of good & bad remakes in the past decade, it seems as though every time someone complains about a bad movie its always a remake. In some cases some ppl don’t even realize that some movies are even remakes, Mainly the ones that are not as popular as classics such as Halloween. I had to tell so many ppl that sorority row was a remake & not a copy of I know what you did last summer…The same with my bloody valentine, I know older ppl who didn’t even know that was remade.
maybe it’s coz of the writers strike that good scripts just aren’t around at this time
Kelly | Jan 23, 2010
Hollywood is already ruined dude. Nothin really exceptionally original has been done in the last 20 years.
Even "Starwars" (the 1977 one) was a remake of those old Flash Gordon serials from the 1930’s.
Destroyer of Dumbasses | Jan 23, 2010
Yes, there are tons of remakes like "The Stepfather(2009)" and a lot of the older versions are better than the remakes.
Leeza | Jan 23, 2010
You can’t just blame Hollywood.. I personally think it’s all the idiots who go to the cinema like clueless drones to watch this crap that cause the problem.
Film companies are just trying to make money. If people repeatedly go to watch substandard remakes then they will keep making them.
There would be plenty of original scripts and ideas within Hollywood but they don’t want to take the risk on them. It makes more business sense currently for them just to make formulaic remakes or sequels.
I read somewhere Transformers 2 was the highest grossing film in the calendar year 2009. It was without doubt the worst film i saw in the whole decade. This just proves cinemas are jam packed full of people who don’t have a clue about good movies.
Dan72 | Jan 23, 2010
Yes! They are so bankrupt for new ideas that it’s pathetic. But like Dan72, pointed out, we have to stop supporting the industry by not watching these stupid remakes.
Rick Carson | Jan 23, 2010
The industry went down the drain a while ago.
They’re turning to remakes and 3D now.
Henbane | Jan 23, 2010
Hollywood’s just run out of ideas or they just aren’t accepting original material. It’s kind of bad that people go to watch a movie that they don’t even realize is actually a remake. Since remakes make a lot of money (thanks to the people who watch them) they’re keep on making them.
Swhite | Jan 23, 2010
sometimes it seems like they always take a step back, because they do. so many movies that were already bad they made worse (land of the lost tv->movie) but they get lucky with some treasures
Movie Master | Jan 23, 2010
The problem with these remakes is people keep going to them. If the movie going public would embrace the smaller independent films and quit going to the Hollywood junk, then we might see more "original films". Unfortunately, the public wants crap like Alvin and the Chipmunks and Paul Blart Mall Cop.
Plus, the remakes and sequels to horror movies tend to be made on very small budgets and they can be profitable by making $30-$40 million at the box office.
I do think we are far enough past the writer’s strike to quit blaming it as a cause of Hollywood’s lack of creativity. Yes, the strike did put a dent in quality scripts for a while. But that just caused Hollywood to pull out some of the junk scripts that were collecting dust.
Justin H | Jan 23, 2010
Dan72 is on the right track. People do line up for crap, especially people who don’t read and merely flock toward the familiar. The bean counters (Harvard MBA’s) who have taken over Hollywood (every studio belongs to some other major corporation now) and do "market research" to estimate what you will buy. The result is roughly the same as when the creative people wre in charge 40 years ago. Sometimes it makes money and sometimes it doesn’t. Some pencil-neck geek in an expensive suit (or a committee of them) thought it was a great idea to make a film version of "Land of the Lost."
Take heart, though. There are still some good writer’s and directors making interesting films without all the computer generated special effects and bad jokes. You just have to seek them out. The multiplex at your local mall probably isn’t screening them, though. They run "what sells" or what they are told to according to "market research" too. Eesh. I’m feeling a little sick.
A.R. | Jan 23, 2010
No
Some suck
but many make a lot better movie then the original
Halloween, Friday the 13th. 2 good examples.
Bad Example: The upcoming Red Dawn remake.. Russian and Chinese forces occupying a US town. Anyone who knows history would know that would be impossible. There wouldnt have to be a resistance. Russia and China hate each other.
